Keeping a username and password in your password app ensures your login is ready to use whenever you need it. To update or change a saved password in the password app, follow the steps below.
How to change a password in the Password app
- Open the Passwords on your device
- Find the account you want to update (ie. Google)
- Tap the three dots next to the saved password
- To update the saved password, select Edit
- Type in the new password and save the changes
Your password has now been updated! Your login information is now available for auto-fill options on sites and apps you have passwords saved for.
