This warranty automatically comes with the purchase of any device at Sour Tech. It covers all defects for hardware and software — and it’s just one of the many ways we've got your back! We will repair a defective device or offer a replacement for it. You’re eligible for a refund if the seller can't repair or replace it. The warranty is valid for 1 year from the delivery of your item.
How to make a claim:
You can submit a warranty claim anytime online in your my account area, or by bringing the product to our store at 901 Harvey Road, Unit A, College Station, Texas, along with your proof of purchase. Or you can email us at hello@itSourTech.com with your order number and we’ll send instructions on how to return your device, along with a prepaid return label.
1. What is covered by this Limited Warranty?
This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for products and devices purchased or repaired at Sour Apple Repair. The original buyer (as evidenced by a valid proof of purchase such as a receipt or invoice) is entitled to warranty coverage for up to 12 months following the date of sale or service (the "Warranty Period").
If a defect appears during the Warranty Period, Sour Apple Repair will presume the defect existed upon delivery or repair unless we can prove otherwise. The buyer must return the device within the Warranty Period to Sour Apple Repair for an inspection. The warranty covers parts and labor for repairs on qualifying defects and may include one of the following options:
- Repair: Free repair of the defective component.
- Replacement: If the device or product cannot be repaired, we will replace it with a similar model or offer store credit.
- Refund: In cases where repair or replacement are not possible, a refund may be issued.
2. How long does the coverage last?
This Limited Warranty lasts for twelve (12) months from the date the device or product was purchased or repaired. Any replacement or repaired device will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.
3. What is not covered?
This Limited Warranty does not cover the following:
- Physical Damage: Damage resulting from accidents, drops, or external physical impacts.
- Water or Liquid Damage: Devices exposed to liquids that result in oxidation or corrosion.
- Unauthorized Repairs: Devices or products that have been altered or repaired by any party not authorized by Sour Apple Repair.
- Misuse and Neglect: Any damage caused by improper handling, misuse, abuse, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s guidelines, including issues caused by improper voltage supply, firmware updates, or flashing.
- Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, and other cosmetic damage not affecting the functionality of the device.
- Products Purchased Outside of Sour Apple Repair: Devices bought from third-party sellers are not eligible for our warranty coverage.
4. Any other limitations?
4.1 Implied Warranties:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this Limited Warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so these limitations may not apply to you.
4.2 Limitation of Damages:
Sour Apple Repair shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from a breach of warranty. This includes loss of profits, revenue, or data. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of these damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.

6. Is this warranty an insurance?
No, this Limited Warranty is not an insurance policy. Sour Apple Repair does not offer insurance products, and no buyer or third party is a beneficiary under this warranty.
7. Governing Law
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
