The Tap-to-Click feature can cause users to accidentally click things just by tapping their trackpad. Here's how to turn it off.
The steps differ based on the type of computer or laptop you're using; find your guide for a Windows computer or Mac below.
Turn off Tap-to-Click on a Windows computer
- Click the Windows logo in the bottom left corner
- Open Settings
- Select Bluetooth & Devices
- Click Touchpad
- Toggle off the "Tap with a single finger to single-click” setting
Turn off Tap-to-Click on a Mac computer
- Click the Apple logo in the top left corner
- Open System Settings
- Select Trackpad
- Toggle off the “Tap to click” setting
Your Tap-to-Click is now turned off!
