Important: The nearby device must be running iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later. This process is compatible with the following devices: iPhone 15 Pro and newer, iPhone 16e, iPad Pro (M4+), iPad Air (M2+), iPad mini (A17 Pro), and iPad (A16). How to Restore Your iPhone or iPad Using a Nearby Device
- Connect the device in recovery mode to a power source
- Place it near another unlocked iPhone or iPad that is connected to Wi-Fi
- Tap Continue when the *Restore Nearby Device" prompt appears
- Enter the 6-digit code shown on the recovering device into the nearby device
- Tap OK when you see "Restoring Device"
Your device will now restore wirelessly!
