Airplane Mode disables all wireless connections on your iPhone or iPad — including cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. This makes it required during flights, but also useful for saving battery or limiting distractions.
How to Turn On Airplane Mode on iPhone or iPad
- Swipe down from the top-right corner to open Control Center
- Tap the airplane icon to toggle Airplane Mode on or off
Or, go to Settings:
- Open Settings
- Tap Airplane Mode to toggle it on or off
