If you are not getting cellular service, working through these steps one at a time will resolve most common connectivity issues.
What to Do If You Are Not Getting Cellular Service
After each step, test to see if your cellular service has been restored before moving on to the next.
- Turn Airplane Mode on for 10 seconds, then turn it back off
- Perform a Hard Reset on your device
- If you have a physical SIM card, remove it and reinsert it
- Reset your Network Settings by going to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Note: Resetting Network Settings will erase all saved Wi-Fi passwords.
- If none of the above steps resolve the issue, contact or visit your Cellular Provider
Your cellular service should now be restored!
